At the foot of Mount Macedon/Geboor in the Macedon township is Jubilee Hall Established in 1898 and then rebuilt after the Ash Wednesday fires, Jubilee Hall is managed by community volunteers. Join us in a beautiful natural bush setting that is a local favourite of the Macedon Ranges community. Relax on our sheltered seating or on a picnic rug with a local Macedon Ranges Zig Zag wine and Rock & Ranges beer, and food from local producers, while enjoying the birdlife and gazing at the view of Mount Macedon/Geboor.

Jubilee Hall has an accessible toilet inside the building, off the foyer. The building is fully wheelchair accessible.

The “Mount Players” Mountview Theatre is an incredible 'local gem' for those who love live theatre. The Mount Players Theatre Company has been entertaining the Macedon Ranges since 1972. From one-act plays, dramas, comedies and musicals to contemporary Australian plays. The Mount Players aims to foster local talent of all ages from the local area and beyond and showcase a wide variety of plays and musicals for the Macedon Ranges community. 

The original Mountview Theatre was established in a converted church, built in the early 1900s. This theatre, as well as many homes of theatre members, was destroyed in the 1983 Ash Wednesday fires. After many years of fundraising, the new and current theatre was built in 1990. 

Mountain Festival is thrilled to partner with the Mount Players crew and is incredibly grateful for their generosity, sharing their beautiful venue with us.

Mountview Theatre has an accessible toilet inside the building. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Middle Gully is adjacent to Mountview Theatre and can be accessed by via the Festival Hub or from Smith Street, opposite the main entrance to the primary school. 

Some of the paths at Middle Gully are rough bush paths and are not wheelchair accessible. The toilet here is not wheelchair accessible.
