From graphic novels to picture books, telling a story through words and visual art is quite an adventure. If you’ve ever been curious about the process of pulling together your own graphic narrative, come along to hear from three exceptional local writers and visual artists - Trace Balla (Treeshape, Befriending the Forest), Simon Howe (Going Home, The House That Walked Away) and Jasper Peach (My Body is My Home) in conversation with writer and editor Jaclyn Crupi (Garden Like a Nonno, The ABC Kids Guide to Loving the Planet).

Suitable for all ages (including grown ups!) this session will delve into the creative and publishing process, tips for writers wanting to tell their own stories, and the writers’ work. Following the panel discussion, you’ll have the opportunity to do some writing and making of your own, with activities led by the artists.
