Sam Voutas is a writer and filmmaker. His feature film Red Light Revolution was included on the British Film Institute’s list of 10 Great Films Set in Beijing. His second feature, King of Peking, world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released globally by Netflix. Sam's screenplay for King of Peking was invited to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences library, as part of their permanent collection. Sam's latest feature film is Yesterday Island. Sam co-authored the graphic novel White Faced Lies with Eric Flanagan. The book is based on their Sundance Labs screenplay.
